yes you need a rear fog to pass our MOT .. I actuallu had one last Saturday and past fine...

weird more people don't do this instead of chopping two huge holes in the rear bumper.. it tended to happen to vehicles on import I believe in the SVA work to pass for driving on our roads..

Looking good. I like the DD mod for the console, just have a hard time swallowing that much $ for that part. Looks good on your car though.

I think i'm the only person that hates the c6 steering wheel from reading around the forums. I had the same wheel on my cobalt. One of the big detractors for me from the c6 pushing me to the c5 was the interior. Minus the seats, it just felt cheap. Wheel. HVAC controls, radio. All of it. All of it felt like it should be on a base toyota.

This would look better, a flat bottom.

But since you are over the pond, why did you not go with a 'Raid' wheel with working air bag?

I really hate when someone posts their awesome new mods that they obviously like (otherwise they would not have done them) and people line up to spout off what they don't like about it. Don't spoil the guy's joy...

It's called an opinion, I'm sure you have one, I'm also sure the op is secure enough to take the truth as some people see it, I myself do not like the wheel (looks out of place with the rest of the interior IMO) nor do I like the spoiler, too chunky for me, I have a spoiler but don't like this one. It don't mean crap, most people that do mods enjoy positive feedback if you only want the positive show your mom and don't post on an open forum.

Btw most of the posts were positive so I assume many people like it.....or maybe not? If they are afraid to say they don't ...which I think is worse..

Really newbie? I think I know how to post an 'opinion', or 'suggestion' to give the OP other ideas he may like. Never said I didn't like the wheel, which I do, cause the C5 wheel is too big.

I'm sure the OP didn't freak out... this is a forum after all, not a YES man club.

DR Throwback : thankyou for the sentiment :-) but I did expect some negative feedback as well as positive.. you always do lol ... but water off a ducks back as its my car and my money.. and as has been said you get some comments that can prove useful..
but I've got my car the way I like it ( still more to come!!).. and the spoiler which has big differing opinions.. I did debate with myself a lot.. but decided on how it is and I love it.. equally I really don't get people who keep there cars completely stock.. or cover in glue and drive through a car parts place and see how much crappy add ons stick to it! But equally respect people who do and like that look.. we are all different.. but thankyou!

Jetz : flat bottomed looks awesome.. but suspect a pricy option... and I actually love the look of the C6 Centeniary wheel with shape, red detail etc ... fits the car nicely..

Kcobain : the console is actually custom made by the guys over here and they did an awesome job of it.. really pleased. on interior I agree so along with this got LED lights, chrome surrounds round dials, then new leather for shifter and brake and arm rest. with red stitching to match the steering wheel and the Evo X seats twhen they go in.. these bits alone have transformed the in cabin feel hugely..

Those seats do look good! Fine car there. BTW, I was stationed at RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge in the early 80's and absolutely loved my time there. Hope to return one day for a visit.

Thanks chaps appreciated... Coming together nicely... Problem is it's becoming bit of an obsession, always thinking on next bit! Looking at black leather with twin stitched seams in red for doors, dash top etc to tie in with seats, steering wheel, gaitors on shifter, arm rest etc.. I never ends :-) ..

Mickey you will see a lot of changes since the 80s over here.. Try and get time to explore different areas if you can..
I'm in the North about 1 1/2 hours from Scotland
