I had them on my Shelby Mustang, but for me, they don't belong on a Corvette. It's your car, so don't be influenced by others like me!!

Well I like it.

Sure it's a lot like ford, but ford ain't so bad.

If it was my car I would leave it for a while since you already put it on.

It is only stripes and reversible. My first impression was that they look a bit like a Ford as well.

Would look better if it was just a stripe all the way across and didn't have the Corvette name in it imho.

The badges bother me more than those stripes. So tacky.

Thanks I didn't know it was an LS1 5.7

I saw a new Camaro with 6.2 badges lol like oh sorry I didn't wanna mistake your 6.2 for a 6.0...thanks for the heads up lol

due they make my vet look better and i keep them on or the car
looks better what no side stripes my fellow corvette brothers let me no
i thought about it and i tried to fine other c5 vets what side stripes to see how it will look and i cant fine any i look for a few months be for i finely put mine on i think i have the only c5 vet what side stripes
..Okay, here's my spin on your vision, first remove stripe from it's present position and lower it to under the door (rocker panel). Change the stripe color to matte black and move the Corvette lettering section further back towards the scoop area. I'm not overwhelmed by them , but relocating them lower and in black might improve what your attempting with that style of stripe, Good luck !!!...

Not saying I could do better, but the bit behind the brake duct does not line up and once you notice it, it's all I can see

Welcome to the forum and the rough ride.

Not sure if you're aware but give vettestripes.com a look. They have numerous options.

I think the problem is, the white just doesn't go with anything on the car?

I expected to see them around the fender vent running back to the door. Doesn't look like there made for a C5.

Could not be more of mistake on a Corvette. You asked for honesty... don't like the " mud flaps " either, the car is nice looking and well kept, it appears, but these additions are not favorable. This is what I see and as a professional automotive designer, my opinion has some weight. OH and BTW, I never sugar coat anything. If I like it I will tell you so. My lack of sugar coating only helps to qualify my opinions as being honest. The stripes going behind the Z06 brake scoops make them look more like Bolt on after thought ducts, which they are.. but the stripes going behind them, make them look even worse.

Bill

Really though, why would you ask anyone's opinion here? If you like them, that's all that counts. You must like them, because you spent the money and put them on... IM guessing that these comments are not what you were looking to see.

Ok, I guess I'll be the first. Please tell me those are not stick on brake ducts. Those bother me more than the stripes.

lol man, if you had posted a thread about your new replica C6 wheels and your jake the skull stickers you would of gotten a full standing ovation...but stripes are going too far I guess

It actually matches with the "theme" of your car

Which is sort of stock with some add ons...or something

You got a lot going on with the badges and the z06 vents.....so the stripes seem right at home on your car to be honest ...id leave them

I do graphics as a hobby and what I visually see is a clash.

White letters on a pewter/silver Corvette.

Additionally, the "CORVETTE" letters are not originally slanted. They appear more upright, which conflicts with the natural look.

Swap the stripes for black to compliment the other black accents and find someone who can make the letters look more aestethically realistic to the CORVETTE lettering.

I think the color white on a dark background with the incorrect letters stand out too much.

A little tweaking may work better.

There may be a bit of a language barrier but the neighborhood in the picture seems nice.
