Default HEADLIGHTS: One Light up and One Down

I just replaced the worn out gear on the passenger side which is flipped up due to the repair and driver side is down - Now when I turn on the lights, the driver side goes up and the passenger side goes down - When I turn them off the driver goes down and the passenger goes up

I think somewhere during the install I reversed something

Help....

No I didn't - Any ideas on how to get it back to original position?

You can manually check to see if the mechanism is reversed. Remove the rubber dust cap on the manual control. Clockwise lowers the light CCW raises it. You can use your fingers or a 1/4 inch hex bit (set the drill to slow speed and DON'T go past the stops!

I checked the passenger side (where I did the gear repair) and when I manually turned the **** I found that clock-wise made the light go up and counter clock-wise made the headlight go down

So what did I reverse?

Would love to compare the drivers side - It won't open, but light comes on and I can't manually turn it as I just found out the **** is broken (Ahhhhh)

I believe the upper and lower white pieces stop the headlight motor from turning - Note in this picture, a bolt is stopping the linkage in the red circle before it hits the white post (FYI - This is how I had it set-up when the lights went down when I turned light switch on)

If a 'flip' the linkage, it doesn't hit the white stops at all (see picture 2)
