Default Turkey baster clutch fluid change - my experience

When we bought our car first thing I noticed was how stiff the clutch was. It was almost a deal breaker.

After poking around on this forum, I decided to try the turkey baster clutch fluid change. Easy enough to do, and the worst that could happen is my clutch stays stiff.

Well, I did it 5 times as the fluid kept getting cloudy. It is clear now.
And the clutch is noticably softer, not stiff at all.

So yes, it works.

** A little tip (in case nobody posted it)
When I drained the reservoir, there is fluid left in the bottom. I stuffed one of those blue paper towel shop rags in it to soak the rest up. Also wiped it out as there was black film in the bottom.

** Also, be very careful not to get the fluid (which is brake fluid) on the paint or let it get on anything else for that matter. It will stain your paint or even eat through it. I put a towel over my fender just in case to catch any stray drips.

This might be the biggest reason my clutch fluid has stayed clean doc.

Good deal that it worked and the clutch works much better. Also, saved you some bucks doing it yourself.
