The same sort of thing happened to me with a Mobil 1 rebate. When I checked, they said they never received my rebate documentation. Strange. The first time in my 67 years that something I mailed was lost.

Most of rebates tell you that it takes 6-8 weeks to receive rebate.
Good thing issue was resolved.
For any rebates over $25, I send it via certified mail so I can track it most of the way. Worth the $3 or so it costs.
