Default Han Krook rebate

I purchased 4 Hankook Ventus V12's this past may 2016 for my C-5 which came with a $100 rebate and after all this time now in Sept I finally inquired about my rebate . I was informed that although my rebate form online was submitted in time the Rebate Center didn't physically receive my claim until after the deadline and they were sorry that I did not qualify for the rebate . Is that a bunch of crap ? Not to mention that I was never informed of the situation by anyone at Hankook or the rebate center . My email reply to the rebate center began like this " BULLSHIT "

Hmmmm, I just bought 4 Hankook Ventus V12's this week, $100 American Express Gift card offered as a rebate. Tires must be purchased by 9-30-16, Rebate form received no later than 10-30-16.
Guess I won't hold my breath waiting for my rebate card...

Send a note to the FTC...that's what they do for a living. Oh yeah, and include a pic of your avatar.

Go to www.hankooktire.com
Under contact at the bottom there is a Tennessee phone number
Call them and tell them you want to return the tires since they are not living up to their end of the deal
Hope this helps

I put the same tires on my daily a few months ago and got my rebate back pretty quick... I would get in contact with someone higher up in the chain as suggested above, I don't see why they wouldn't honor it if it was submitted before the deadline and you have proof you bought them before the deadline ended

Sounds like a raw deal to me. If the on-line submission was on time, it appears to be their problem if the rebate center didn't get it before the deadline. Call and raise a ruckus and see if that helps. If not, maybe your state's AG can help.

I put a 2nd set of Hankook's on my Mini Cooper S a couple of months ago, sent in the rebate form and the rebate card showed up yesterday.

I agree with above to contact them to try and have them reverse their decision. I actually turned in the rebate form a day late on one of these deals and my wife called them up and convinced them to send us the rebate anyway.

I purchased four of their tires a few weeks ago and sent in the rebate form as soon as I got it from Tire Rack. A week later I got an email confirmation that they got my form and it is being processed. Indication was it may be a month or two before I get the rebate, still waiting.

You might also let them know the government considers the email delivered at the time you sent it. Also include the date/time stamp from the email.

I have them on my car and think the world of them. My biggest beef is that they last too long, delaying the date when I am able to replace my wheels. (I'm too cheap to throw away perfectly good tires just to change the wheels). I've got almost 30,000 miles on my tires and they look like new. I didn't think that was supposed to happen with Corvettes.
