Old enough to know better, but still young enough to say, "What the hell"........

Non vette related but had to comment on the Marantz pic. I had their audio gear a long time ago, I'm not an accomplished audiophile but I always admired their workmanship, smooth positive controls, solid feel, and while not powerful by todays standards, beautiful and clean sound. Thanks for the look back into years gone by. Best wishes! Oh Damn! Almost forgot the age thing, will be 67 in a couple months but in my minds eye I'm always 30! Funny how that works, I catch myself looking in the mirror once in a while and thinking "what the hell happened to me". But overall its been a good ride, hopefully to continue on a good while longer. Y'all take care!

Nice... I think that you and I just became friends....
Great post OP!!!
My older brother had a 75 Firebird w a factory 8 track player.. wore some BOSTON, The Eagles, Zeppelin out!!!
Anyone use the old folded matches trick under the tape when the 8 track would eat the tape....?
Those were truly better days....
