If you'd posted this in OT they would say, "C5 is the new C4".

If you're changing wheels maybe look for something with a little dish to them, that really makes the stance look a bit tougher compared to straight faced ones. I'd rather stock C5z wheels lowered compared to C6z replicas made for a C5.

Trickster a C5er now!

Looks good man. I agree on blacking out the wheels. Sorta with you on the ghetto thing, not sure why. They're probably nice wheels too, just not my thing.

The rest of the car looks nice. I'm not sure why so many people are opposed to the body side mouldings but to each their own.

I'm fortunate to have my favorite wheels on mine, the thinspokes. Of course about the time I say that one will break.

You'll like this car way more than the C4. There are things about the C4 I really like, not the least of which is the clamshell. I could deal with a C4 if it were not for the rattles and the lack of headroom. But, I'd call the C5 superior in about every way, as a newer version should be.

Tuco's stopping by with his next weekend so we can mess with that a bit. Looks like we're doing an exhaust on it. Seems I get to see a bunch of these at the shop lately.

I think you and Tuco need to do a video for OT like Doug and Chas did. You can teach Tuco how to drive his car properly to get the most out of it, go out for a nice lunch, and end up in a bromance.

Wait until you take the top off. My C4 was a wet noodle with the top off, the C5 is rock solid. I just miss the glass roof, but I'll get one eventually.

I've seen what gets done to any pic that's posted around here. Rest assured I won't be posting any.

Those wheels made the car look spectacular, imo. I would say blacking them out now looks "ghetto". Anyway, congrats and good luck!
