Default HP Guess?

I make no bones about the fact that I'm really not looking to do major HP updates to my car. It's got enough umph to keep a smile on my face but people always ask me "how may hp is it". I usually just say, "enough to make me smile" as I don't really know.

Maybe some of you guys/gals with a lot more knowledge than I have would care to hazard a guess?

2003 M6 Coupe
x-pipe
hi-flow cats
Z06 ti catback
Honker CAI
Tuned (no dyno)

Any guesses at rwhp?

At most maybe a little more than that, but that little more would be determined by what tune is on the car.

Guess you also meant late year C5 and not 2006.

Oops, damned fingers have a mind of their own sometimes. Meant 2003... fixed - thanks.

Thanks guys. Seems like 320ish is the consensus. I just hate having to say "gee, I don't know".. Now I have a reasonable answer. Much appreciated.

SW Florida?!? DYNO day?!? You funny... At least not in the area that we're in. And honestly, I'm not all that curious, just was looking for a ballpark figure to tell people when they ask.

As I said, it makes me smile to drive it and I don't race so it's enough for me.

Someone only one here probably ever heard of. JJ at Lomotion in Poughkeepsie, NY

I sent them a note and asked if they could let me know the parms or tune data. Haven't heard back yet.

People (non vette people) ask me all the time "what ya got in er'?" I always say an LS1, 350. Then they say "how much horsepower?" I always say 400. I have no idea how much HP I have and don't really care. They usually either nod their head or give me the thumbs up. I've got enough to make me tingle and give me a stiffy every time I drive it. I'm satisfied and their satisfied with my answer.
