Need help with tips & tricks on removing & then installing seat covers for my C5 Z06. Just have regular factory seats & covers.

I did a quick search and couldn't find anything step by step.

Tips & pointers to any forum resources/instructions would be appreciated.

Search C5 Seat Covers using Google. Tons of u-tube videos. CF search functions are not too good. Good luck.

One quick question: do I have to take the seats out of the car first? Can I do it while seats remain in car?

Need to take the seats out. 4 bolts and a couple of electrical connectors. If you have a vert - put the top down and it is a lot easier. Similar with a coupe. Remove the targa top for more room. When you remove the seat you will likely find a bonus like a french fry or two...LOL

Suggest you set up a couple of saw horses or similar table at a comfortable height because you'll be working on them for about a hour each.

I think "Vette Essentials" website had a tutorial on the replacement of the covers.
