Today I reinstalled the dim HVAC repaired by VettTronics, fixed a broken hinge on the cup holder lid, repaired the broken orange shift indicator and tightened up the fascia for a tighter fit. Once all the parts were in, the job took less than 2 hours to complete. None of this would have been possible without the invaluable information on this site. Thank you to all offer information here. My total cost was $82.50. Shop cost, about $775.00. Cannot express my appreciation enough. Thank you!

I'm also very grateful for all the help and advice I've received. I'm so impressed with the willingness of members who take the time to share their knowledge and experience with those of us less knowledgeable. Thanks!!

When you find a piece of diagnostic/repair info for these cars that's not found on this forum, you are in for some long nights of studying. Unfortunately, I am in exactly that situation, but mine is a little more involved than the average issue. Might have just scored my parts on Ebay 20 min ago. We'll see if some F-body parts will do the trick. Fingers crossed.
