Default F Car vs Y Car

I just received my service manuals and notice they have procedures for (F Car) and (Y Car) what is the difference between them and how do I know which one I have? I feel like this is something I should already know (but don't)
I googled and searched but nothing came up as to what i'm asking.

What year service manuals and what does it say on the cover? Mine are specifically for a Corvette - no mention of any other model. After the C5 came out, LS1's were also used in the F body cars, so I guess the engine part of the manual could be for both. Mine are not. Is yours an actual GM manual?

Why would mine be different from yours or others?
I understand there may be small differences from year to year
Wouldn't all GM Manuals be the same?

because some of the pages in your service manuals are for corvette and camaro. Y body=corvette F body= camaro
some things are the same, but as in the page you posted, you see the camaro has a throttle cable, and the corvette is drive by wire throttle body

During that era, they put a lot of stuff in both cars which were common. The motors were basically identical. This morning I bought a 98 Firebird PCM to replace the one in my 98 Vette. Same part # exactly. The One I got out of a early rear EBCM 98 Vette isn't exactly the same one so I'm having some issues.

Fwiw, F Body also refers to Firebird/Formula/Trans AM
