Sure lots of us old farts (68 and USAF 1969-1973) responding to this thread.

I'm driving my even-older-fart father (92 and USN 1942-1945) in the Lone Star Corvette Club- participating Veterans Day parade in Dallas this Friday. He used to drive my 86 C4 coupe back in the day, and enjoys riding in the C5 as well.

I am retired USAF aircraft armaments. 1985 to 2008. Thank you to all who served and are still serving. God bless you all. I am blessed to have my little 02 coupe and my 2016 Hellcat Challenger. It makes for a tough choice when deciding which to drive.

Happy USMC birthday wishes to all of my fellow Marines.

Here's health to you and to our corps, Which we are proud to serve: In many a strife we have fought for life And never lost our nerve. If the army and the navy Ever look on heaven's scenes, They will find the streets are guarded By the United States Marines.
