I bought a new EBCM for my '01 at Amazon a while back for 500 bucks. I recently did a search and all the vendors I checked were out of stock. Getting yours repaired might be the only option. If there are any new ones out there, they are going to want a fortune for them.
I still have my spare that I haven't sent in to get fixed yet.
