Default Good for another year.

Just took my ’04 vert for its 12 month oil/filer change and bumper to bumper inspection/test drive by my go-to- vette mechanic and all is well. I drive during the winter when there is no wetness/snow/salt on the roads. I like driving the car all year long and when you have that special day in winter with temps in 45+ degrees, I drop the top and cruise. No storage for this vette driving guy. Anyone out there like me?

I drive mine during the winter when the roads are dry and free of salt.

Gotta be warmer for me though to drop the top!

If the roads are relatively clean and dry I wont hesitate to take mine out for a ride. I'm with enoniam-Has to be warmer to drop the top!

Mine is put away til at least April, way too much salt on Michigan roads. I can wait til then, my time to go over the car front to back and add any upgrades.

I'm with C5Txfan. It takes about 65 degrees for me to put the top down, but as long as the road is dry, I'm ready to ride!

One of the few things I like about E Texas, besides no state income tax and open/concealed carry, is the year round cruising, drop top days are abundant. Best wishes!

No salt here, I do drive mine (usually) a good 11 months out of the year. I need to replace my wheel hubs and my weekends have either been busy or rainy, so I haven't driven mine in a couple months. It's killing me.

<edit> I get about 3 oil changes a year on average (5k intervals).

On rare occasions I'll get my car out of storage during the winter, but it is just that, rare.

I drive in the rain at least twice a week...for years and years. Doesn't melt either.

I had a 2002 Camaro SS I drove through the winter one year - never again. Nothing like stepping on the gas on a flat street when a light turns green and you just sit there slowly spinning not moving at all. lol

Not in Ohio's winter, the roads look like a top of a Margarita glass just before the first drink.
