Can someone who insures through NCM clarify something for me, please. I filled in their online estimator form and the result was very good, but when I looked at the detail there was no line item for comprehensive coverage. They wanted a value, which I gave them, and they showed a deductible, but no cost given for comprehensive. What am I missing?

I have 0 deductible on collision and comprehensive for my '04. Agreed upon value at $26k. You can pick a number of options for your deductible. I have had them for a few years now but have never filed a claim. Hope that day never comes. If you have any questions call Adam Boca at the NCM and he will be glad to help you.

First, thanks to everyone for the awesome plugs! We couldn't have the business that we do with you all!

jackthelad, this is puzzling. Are you from NC or MA? Did you submit the quote an get an immediate email or just print on the premium screen? If you printed, we don't have a copy of it to reference. It would be best to give us a call and we can put together a formal quote over the phone. 877.678.7626.

Just so others know. We are unable to offer coverage in NY, NC, MA, AK or HI. We are able to offer coverage in all other states not mentioned.

Damm, I guess zip codes do play a large part in insurance pricing.

I pay an additional $354 per year to add the vette, and that's $500 deductible with full coverage through Safeco. I have all of my other stuff with them though so that makes a big difference. It was way cheaper than I thought it would be.

I've used USAA for several car loans over the years but Geico has always beaten them on insurance rates.(for me, at least)

I had American Modern when I had my C5.
They have even insured my 2010 Camaro now $ 300 per year.
The catch is that you have to have another car insured somewhere else for a DD.
My other cars are with State Farm.

Been with USAA since forever, hands down the best Ins.Co. in the US.

But not the cheapest. I finance three vehicles through them now and several others through the years. Every year when my Geico insurance renewal comes up, I check with USAA for better rates. Still can't beat Geico.

USAA has unique compartments for the various subscribers and distinctive rates for each individual group. In our group, they have always beat the lizard for those of whom qualify as life-time members, and so forth, etc.
