Brake caliper paint system

I used VHT high temperature paint system for my 2001. I used the clear over the red paint and they have held up for 2 and one half years and still look great. What ever you use the calipers must be cleaned very throughly .

That's what I used. I cleaned the calipers super good, masked it off, then hit it with some coats of color. For the fronts with the CORVETTE lettering I wrapped some fine grit sand paper into a rectangle and hit it a few times. Has held up pretty well. How well you clean it will factor into how well the paint holds.

Same here...VHT paint. Used chapstick on the letters and then sprayed the whole thing plus brackets. Once dry, I was able to just wipe away the chapstick and had a perfectly raw lettering left behind.
There was another thread about this same topic about a week or so ago. Might try a search for it. Others suggested Duplicolor G2 and some other named brands.
Update: Found the thread in my subscribed box.

I have used a product called Folia Tec to paint the calipers on my last two C5s as well as a 2008 Equinox Sport and my 2015 Impala. It's a two part epoxy paint system, brushes on and dries with no brush marks, and wears like iron. The paint on my current C5 has been there for seven years and it still looks like new. Only place I have seen it sold is on the big auction site.
Other stuff may work too, but I have been very pleased with the Folia Tec.

My Z06 is Electron Blue. I did not like the look of the red calipers so I had the local automotive paint store mix up some Electron Blue auto paint and put it in a spray can. Cleaned the calipers and sprayed them. That was about 6 years ago and they still look great. I do not think high temperature paint is required for regular street driving, which is what I do.

I am prepping a set of used C6Z06 calipers for powder coating as I want the best finish possible along with the durability of powder coating. I used Folia Tec like VJ did and it came out very nice but I want the Z calipers to have a smoother finish.
Here are my C5 calipers with Folia Tec

I used POR15. They were rattle canned silver when I bought it. Looked good from 10 feet.
I painted the brackets and rotor hats, too;.
