Passenger Side Window Motor
Finally got a chance to take out the car yesterday and the passenger window wouldn't work. I'm not gonna mess with banging door panel, etc, etc. Gonna get a ACDelco replacement. No big deal right ?
From what I'm seeing the new replacement unit now require you to also purchase an additional replacement plug/pigtail.
Am I missing something here? What happened to direct plug and play?
Anyone else encounter this during a replacement ?
GM / ACDELCO Part # 15781690
Pigtail # 88988609

Advice noted except.....I have already replaced the passenger side regulator on my 03 Silverado twice with aftermarket units...the first one didn't last a full year. Another thing I noticed is the aftermarket units tend to move a lot slower then the OEM unit.

Forum member Spectator2 has a set of used regulators (both sides) just posted for sale for only $50. Might be worth checking out.

SG LOU I just replaced the driver side with a GM AC DELCO and it said nothing about needing the male pigtail. Unless it was worn, I do not see replacing it. I agree about the aftermarket. I replaced the same assembly last year with aftermarket. Never again.

Clean and fix what you have. Its cheaper and will probably last longer and you wont need to change the wiring connector if it is truely a new replacement motor.
