Default c5 radio

I have a 2001 c5 with 25,000 miles on it and probably less than 2,000 have been at night. The radio has had no lights at all since I bought it 5 years ago and about 15,000 miles ago. I am aware of the history of these light bulbs burning out but I can't imagine them all going at once in that short of time. Is there something else in common with these lights that could be the culprit, everything else works fine. Like I said I very rarely drive it at night but I hate anything on my "baby" not working right.

You are right, I couldn't find one either, unless there is a line fuse which I doubt. Maybe someone else knows.

Most likely all of the indicator lamps behind the buttons are bad. Not uncommon if all other interior lighting is working properly. More typical is to notice all the lights behind the HVAC control buttons being out.

The 7129 lamp is the direct replacement for this. Here is one source

If you have a Radio Shack around you they carry them also.

It is not too bad of a job to replace them.

The HVAC lights dimming was caused by a broken solder on the PC board, just had to re flow the solder. Maybe the radio is the same problem.
