I'm planning on a Procharger in a couple months, but thought I might try to cut out a bigger breathing hole in the stock airbox. My buddy brought it up mentioning he had a spare one in case the project went south. I realize you can buy custom filters, but Andy's kit comes with it's own anyway and I don't want to waste the $$ for just 2 months. I thought this might be a good answer while I wait.

Anyone ever tried to do this or am I for thinking about it?

Zip tie mod. Costs nothing and your done in five minutes. No cutting and plenty of air.
