What kind of Horse Power is my C5 putting out???
I have a 2000 C5 with a M6, corsa x-pipe, and a corsa indy exhaust. What kind of rear wheel power am I putting out? Also, if I added an aftermarket air lid what would I be looking at? thanks!

I know, but if it's only putting out 300 to the rear wheels with the corsa nad x pipe then that means it's only putting out 290 stock. That's only around 330HP.

What are you talking about? I have a manual and if the muffler is as loud as it is now then there must be some extra HP free'd up with the exhaust and X pipe. P.S I am taking into consideration the drive line loss. 290 +15% = around 330hp. that is not close to the claimed 345 by GM. See what I'm saying?

345 at the flywheel = approx 295 at the rear wheels maybe 300 with the M6. Don't take our word for it, do some mod's and do a before and after dyno-tune. All the mods you do are great but are exponentially enhanced by a good dyno-tune. Mine will be done in two weeks with Corsa Indy, X-pipe, Blackwing ,160 thermo, coolant by-pass, and oh yeah, no cats. o2 sims. Where will I be?????

I would think that you are pulling down somewhere between 295-305 hp. Best way to find out is get a dyno session and see what it shows.

With just an intake and exhaust I dyoned 315 to the rear wheels and 327 ft lb of torque. That's about 380/395. You should be around 305/315.
Also I thought it was 17% loss not 15%, someone correct me...

My 99 MN6 with the exact same mods came in at 292 RWHP. I had many club buddies with 99-00 with similar mods also in the 292 - 298 RWHP range. We had one freak that on the same day and same dyno put out 321 RWHP. So there can be a 15 to 20 HP difference between cars.
