Turn on ignition, but don't start the car.

Press gas pedal to the floor 3 times quickly.

Your oil life is now at 100%

If your looking at the oil life monitor, just hit the reset button and if the engine is running it will display dashes and when you come back it will say 100% or if the engine is not running it will go right to 100%

Mine doesn't. If I reset w/engine running, I get the dashes but it comes
back with the same % remaining. It resets to 100% w/engine off.

The press the gas pedal 3 times always works for me (and in my other Chevy vehicle), where as the reset button works sometimes.

Something weird happened to me the other day when I reset my oil life monitor after an oil change. It first went to showing just three lines ---% and then when I restarted the engine later, it went to 99% right away, not 100%. So I hit reset again and then it went to 39%, which was where it was before I did my oil change! I reset it again and it went to 99% and now it's down to 97% already even though I've only driven a few hundred very easy miles (hardly any full throttle runs)

Weird eh?

I just changed oil and I did the same and got the ---%. I tried it again and realized I had the car running. When I did it again with just the ignition on but not running, it reset correctly.

The trick here is turn the ignition key on but don't start the car. Use the reset button when you get to the oil life in the options menu and it will go to 100%. Just did the oil and filter a few weeks ago so the procedure is still fresh in my brain.
