How to kill the glare from the dash on the windshield?
If there is just a little sun all I can see in the windshield is the dash of the car. Is there a way to kill this glare or a product to put on the dash?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have a black dash mat on the dash. There isn't any reflected glare anymore. You can find one at West Coast Corvettes, Ecklers, Mid America or any of the other Corvette accessory shops.

I find that cleaning the whole dash with windex a couple of times will remove most of that oil that causes the shine. Try the glarebgone though, I've never heard of that and it sounds promising!

Never put Armorall on your dash!
When I had my '96, my son detailed it for me so I would let him drive it. He did a get job detailing the car except for the fact that he put Armorall on the dash. WOW, what a mess that was! I could't see to drive it until after I did a whole lot of rubbing on the dash to get most of it off. "Never put armorall on your dash or you will be sorry!"

Here's the scoop! Polarized sun glasses will do the trick. How do I kow this you ask? Well I've been a Optican for the past 15 yrs. The only draw back is it will reduce the HUD brightness but all the windshield glare will be gone I promise
