Default CAUTION: Extremely Dirty Pics Inside

Well, it had to happen eventually. My wife and I went out for dinner and a movie on a cold but clear December 23rd. We went about 20 miles south to the large mall where we could do both, along with some last minute shopping, spending about 5 hours inside. A lot can happen in 5 hours meteorologically speaking In this case, about 4 inches 'happened' when we walked out of the theater.

The very first thing my wife says when she sees the snow is, "Oh no! You're not going to do spins in the parking lot are you!" To which I smile and reply that I wouldn't. All I could think of was how I would be clenching both cheeks tighter than ever before while trying 'not' to spin around on the 20 miles back home. What is normally a 20 minute drive took us just over an hour, driving 5-15 mph in 2nd, hazards flashing almost the entire trip, with everyone smiling as they passed the 'slowest' car on the road tonight.

If you faint at the sight of a dirty car... close the browser... this isn't going to be pretty... But as bad as the car looks, you're really going to freak out when you see the very last picture *winks*.

And feel free to flame me about the last pic, after the drive I've had just now I can handle anything

And now for those dirty pics...

And now for the final nail in my 'worst c5 owner in the world' coffin...

Glad you made it home safely. Good thing those are the front tires or you might still be in the parking lot doing donuts.

The wear pattern suggest overinflation of the rear tyres. Might be worth investing in a set of those tell-tale dust caps.

OMG, Is that a stock exhaust????

Seriously, glad you made it home safe and sound. This time of year the weather can change in a heartbeat. You probably should think about new tires.....soon With those, you really don't need snow to do donuts in parking lots.

You're right, not pretty pictures. But she will clean up again. I've been there and had to clean up a mess from driving in the snow. But with those tires, I'm surprised you were able to get it home at all.

Damn!!! You must have an angel riding in the back to have made it home in one piece. Its bad enough you don't have any traction on dry roads but then you drove home in 4 inches of snow like that? You're crazy dude!
