Hi Jim,
Nice product, looks quite handy. I would have to say though that I feel it carries the ever-present corvette tax and that will keep more than a few customers away. However, being too lazy to try to make one myself , I'm going to give yours a go.
My question for you is about the carpet colors. I see on your website you offer "pewter" for a grey color. It looks too dark to match the light grey C5 interior. However, in one of you sample pictures you have your tray in a light grey interior C5 coupe (with the Nassau Blue lids) and it appears to match very well. It does not look anywhere near the shade of the "pewter" you offer. Is that a different color carpet that is also available but not listed? If you do indeed have a matching light grey I will order one of these from you.
Please let me know.

The pewter grey carpet we sell matches the interior. It is the same carpet in each picture just different cameras and lighting. We have had a tough time getting real good pictures with our digital camera. The customer that took the picture of his with the nassau blue lids and did a great job in the shot

Randy put ours in today. Took about 2 minutes and is the best mod for the money I have seen! Its cold out today and you wouldn't believe how it keeps the heat in the passenger compartment. Tunes sound better too. And less noise inside from the LOUD pipes! AAA+++++

I just sent you an order for a black partition and tray set. Your website indicates that I have an option of 1/2 or 3/4 inch board although I never saw where to specify my desire. Is one better than the other for sound proofing or is the thicker one just stronger?

Got your email and responded...This goes back to the old addage, "bigger is better". Not really true in a all cases. I have used both the 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch MDF partition. The only differnence I notice is one is heavier and harder to take in and out of the car, much harder to manipulate. Both are very strong and there is no difference is sound deadening, stereo improvement, AC improvement, etc...from one thickness to the other.

Let's put it this way, I can easily have either one and I personally use the 1/2 inch partition. I also offer either one at the same price so it really does not matter to me which one you choose, as long as you walk away happy.

I have sold 100's of 1/2 inch partitions and not one person has come back and said "damn, wish I got the 3/4 inch partition".

Try the 1/2 inch and if you are not happy, send it back for the 3/4 inch......

My 2 cents.....
