GM Drilled & Slotted Rotors Available!
Hi All,
I have had several people want to order drilled and slotted rotors over the last couple of months but they have been backordered. I can get them and they are 258.78 shipped. They do have a new part number. If you'd like to order front and rear ceramic pads with them as well the pads are 131.00 for front and rear sets shipped (Both front and rear).
A little bit about the rotors. I get questions all the time whether or not they're zinc coated or not. No, they are not. Zinc coating does was off after a while anyway. I recommend you paint the hat area of the rotor with your favorite colored high temp paint. To protect the slots and drilled areas you can spray several coats of clear on them. When you first apply the brakes, it will burn the clear off the areas that is needed.
That's it. If you'd like to order the rotors you can go to the site at www.gmpartshouse.com. Click where it says click here to enter part number search. Use the following part numbers, starting in box #1, and be sure to use Chevrolet make.

Gene,
Are the C6 Z51 rotors the same size as the C5 rotors? They are different rotors from the ones you're offering in this group purchase, arn't they?
If they are different and will fit a C5, what is their part numbers and what would their price be?

I bought these same parts 2 years ago and get great compliments, plus they work great for my style of driving. I'm not a racer!
I painted the hats and edges before installation.........see "My Corvette Photos".

Hi All,
The drilled and slotted rotors are different from the C6 Z51 rotor and bracket setup. I'll paste the price of the C6 Z51 brakes. Currently they are on backorder and we haven't been able to get any for about a month. Keep checking back. You will not be able to use them (C6 Z51 brakes) on 17's in the front. Check the several threads on the forum regarding this swap.
Note to all. These fit all C5's, not matter what model. There were no differences in the C5 Z06 brakes besides the color of the calipers.

89060328 – Front Brake Rotors
89060329 – Rear Brake Rotors
88964166 – Front Brake Caliper Bracket
88964167 – Rear Brake Caliper Bracket
Total kit with all 4 rotors and caliper brackets 510.72 shipped
For this kit on our website, use part number c6z51brakes under Chevrolet make.
