WTB Wiring plug for rear view mirror
Just as title says I need the plug in for the rear view mirror. Bought a mirror off ebay for my C3 and it didn't come with the plug. It would be nice to have the lights working. Let me know how much shipped to 28115 NC, thanx

I assume you're referring to the C5 mirror? Which mirror did you buy?
There are two different mirrors with different wiring harnesses depending on which model year it came from. 1997-2000 doesn't have the auto-dimming feature and has a 4-pin block wiring harness. 2001-2004 has the auto-dimming feature and has a 7-pin inline harness as I recall. However, you can use an auto-dimming mirror with a 4-pin wiring harness, so if that's what you bought, be aware that either harness will technically do the job. I can provide instructions on how to do that if you need them.

I have the connector you can just have it for shipping... BUT I had to cut the wires right at the connector, you can pull the pins out and solder longer leads on them to wire it into your exsisting wiring...

Well, I don't know what's going on with the OP and posting a bump. I ended up soldering a pigtail back unto the connector as they were cut VERY short and I wasn't going to ship it out as it was, just got done with it actually... I told him I would mail it out to him...
Maybe he needs more then one? If he doesn't want this one it's yours!

OK Gary, I can't think of any of my LED Mod buddies who have done the swap to Autodimming.
Hey you can probably head to your nearest Junkyard and pickup a plug for damn near nothing, I know the Trailblazer has the exact same mirror in it and more then likely AOLT of other GM models do as well, I would imagine the connector is the same.... NOT so sure about the 7 pin Electrochromatic mirror though...

Tim,
Thanks for the info. Someone said that they had the connector for sale so I hope it goes through. But if not I didn't know about the other GM models, so I will go that way if the other deal falls through. Thanks again
