What inhectors would you suggest for a LS1 with LS6 heads going with a twin turbo kit? I've allready been told I need a Boost-a-pump and a new fuel pump.
Any info is GREATLY apreciated!

I would recommend the Siemens 60's. We also carry the Kenne Bell Boost A Pump and Walbro Fuel Pumps so just let us know if we can help you with the rest.

Thanks

I added CNC 243 heads, mild cam 212/218 553 559, LS6 Intake, Blackwing, and headers to my 99 LS1.

I would like to buy new injectors, what do you recomend ? would it need reprogramming ?

They're a direct fit.

I would recommend the FAST 36's or Bosch 42's. Yes, the tables in your PCM would need to be changed for the larger injectors.

Thanks

Yes it would be. I wouldn't drive the car. They're both going to be a direct fit, they're just going to flow a lot more fuel.

If you have a stock motor and you're using a wet kit, you won't need to change the injectors. If it's a dry kit, I would upgrade.

Are both of these injectors constructed the same? I'm wondering if they are pintle or disk. Wouldn't a GM engine be designed to perform better with one over the other? Have you noticed that in your experience building engines?

They're disc injectors and I would stick with a disc injector. All of the injectors listed here have worked great for us.

None of these injectors are flow matched. It's not necessary on new injectors.

The Siemens 83's (@ 43.5 psi) are an LS1/LS6 height injector. So as long as you're setup for that height you're good to go. The FAST 85's (@ 58 psi) are an LS3/LS7 height injector. The Siemens 83's will support more power since they're rated at 43.5 psi.

Thanks
Seth
