Free Delivery of LS1 in California
If paid in full by Friday (this week).
I am able to drop this motor off on this Saturday in route to San Diego anywhere between Stockton and San Diego off of a major route like I-5, 99, I-15, or within a reasonable distance from one of those routes.
Engine Info
Out of a C5 with 22K miles on it.
01 LS1 motor with an LPE GT2-3 Cam. Was out of an LPE car, done by LPE. Got it off a forum member who swapped it to me for some other parts. I had intended on putting it into my 91 Firebird Formula..but just learned that these cars are more on the rare side, so with 50K original miles on the TPI motor I am deciding (I think) not to do it. So I have this motor which has the LS6 intake on it and it is the 01+ block..so it is the newer block that was re-cast with the windage holes to promote better crank case breathing between bays. It has a Corvette Oil Pan, Water pump, pulley, Alt bracket, Alt. Fuel Rail/Injectors, and most of the sensors.
Motor should dyno around 380 rwhp with the LPE GT2-3 cam (barely bigger then the 02 LS6 Cam). It doesn't burn any oil and is a very strong motor and was/is in perfect shape...he was just dropping in a larger motor (LS3) into his C5 and pulled it. This is why it has a lot of the parts already (not just a long block).
I have been watching LS6 heads on Ebay go for $499 fully assembled. If you put LS6 heads on this block it would make 400whp (est) with the current cam. If you went for a nasty cam like one of the LG cams...you could make up to 470 rwhp (w/ headers, pulley and CAI setup).
$2000.
