Melting Slicks
I'm curious on the black coated ones. Are you saying that after they break in or have been used for a bit, the black on the rotor face(where the pads rub) will wear off? What does the face look like after that? And will it start to rust? I like the look of the Baer rotors in that even after years of use they look like they are chrome. How will the silver coated and black coated rotors of yours look? Is one more durable than the other? I could always have the hat powdered.

Great deal - ordered a set today!
Thanks for getting my order taken care of, Adam! I will be installing them soon and will put them through the paces on the Tail of the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway at the end of April. I will let everybody know how they do!

The baer decelarotors I believe use an anodized hat on the fronts and a powdercoated hat on the rear? As far as them looking chrome, the exposed iron friction surface will appear shiny as long as the car is used as mentioned above.

Mine are here.
I'm not planning to install for a couple months but they look great and the process was simple and the shipping was quick. I am a happy buyer!

I'll be watching for when they get back in. Would like black slotted only or black drilled and slotted.

Anyone who ordered already is covered, we have not oversold these. More parts should be available in about 2 weeks and I'll update the thread as soon as they come in! Thanks everyone who ordered so far!
