Mark/TPS:
I've just poured thru a number of your threads here on the Forum to narrow my search for new racing seats to replace the stock seats in my 2010 Grand Sport (1LT trim level, meaning only the driver's seat is electric). I installed a harness bar last year to work with the stock seats, which is great, but now what's missing is the lateral support at thigh and torso/shoulders.
I've looked at the A4, CR1, LG1 (all recliners) and the FX1 and Forza (both shell/fixed). I'm a big guy at 6' tall w/a 40" waist (right now - aspirations to get to a 38 or 36", but it's not happening so fast - LOL). I'm tracking the car 4-7 events per year but but majority of time is weekend cruises and street driving. So it looks like a recliner might do the job for now. The CR1 looks like it has the better thigh/torso support over the A4, but your description on TPS website doesn't mention anything about submarine belt/5th hole capability on the CR1. Right now I'm set up with a 6-point harness with the two base straps and buckle coming thru where the seatback meets the bottom cushion, AND maintaining the stock 3-pt belts.
What would you suggest including options (seat shaving, adding 5th hole)?

I need a quote for A4's in black suede, shaved base with mounting brackets shipped to 46140.
Just tried recovering and new foam on stock seats. Screw this. I'm done.

Just got my seats and I was wondering do they fit better(back and forward, recline) if you install driver on pass side and pass on driver side? I installed the pass seat this afternoon and it is really tight(pass on pass side). Plus I don't like the way the seatbelt attachment hits the tunnel, oh well there is just no room!

I have been using A4 Corbeau seats in my '99 since June of 2009. They are very comfortable to me, and offer a lot better support than the stock seats. So far the micro suede material is holding up great. I am 6'-0" @ 185lbs just for reference. They would work for folks a little bigger too.
how much for these shipped to 30121
