Just placed a phone order and ordered these along with the full light kit and the hood light, and any other lights as well. Can't wait to get them in and make this thing light up like a Christmas tree. I have friends who are professional photographersso I'll get some good shots with Chicago and the lakefront as the back drop for you to use at your pleasure, advertisement, etc.

These will not produce more light with blackouts on. We do carry the crystal clear backup plates that really make these things shine!
Iam confused...above it states and shows pictures of stock lighting compared to this LED conversion and the LED is stated and visually shows to be much brighter over stock. How or why would these not produce more light through a blackout vs stock bulbs through the blackout? Did I miss something? I currently have the stock bulbs with blackouts on over the reverse lenses and just like many have mentioned I too would like to keep the blackout look during the day but would enjoy more light output at night.

LEDs just don't do well with filtering through tinted lenses, sorry
