Would you happen to know if these work with a 2009 Silverado? There is a plug on the back of the mirror which is similar to my 01 coupe.
If it will work, I'll buy two.

Wow, what an easy mod! BTW on my 2009 Silverado, you can follow the same wiring diagrams as the C6 Corvette.
Hehehe, no more cable running down to the power plug.....

Ordered a standard length one...how long is it? I can't imagine I need a foot long one, I prefer the radar detector as high as I can get it.

is there a trick to get the plug out of the mirror? I removed a little tab that was on one side of the plug but for the life of me i can't pull the plug out!!

ITs not necessary to pull it out. You can install the cord with it plugged into the mirror
