Default B&B T-34 Stainless Shorty Headers

I'm finally switching to Long Tube headers - so I have these T-304 stainless steel B&B Shorty Headers for sale. sold sold sold

Also have cats and Bassani stainless X-Pipe for complete package back to axles. sold sold sold

http://s1205.photobucket.com/albums/...t=DSC02547.jpg

SOLD sold sold sold
4-into-1 merged collectors for the best performance possible.
Bassani stainless X-Pipe only $85.00 + shipping. sold sold sold

Excerpt from B&B advertisement:
Built entirely of T-304 stainless steel, Billy Boat Performance Exhaust Shorty Headers for the C-5 Corvette are direct replacement parts for the factory equipment. Billy Boat Performance Exhuast is the originator of the LS1 shorty header. Longer, equal length primary tubes increase performance and throttle response and large diameter 1.75" primary tubes improve flow. Unlike most header manufacturers who settle for an open collector, Billy Boat Performance Exhaust hand builds each of its 4-into-1 merged collectors for the best performance possible. In addition to a performance increase of 10 rear wheel horsepower, Billy Boat Performance Exhuast's Shorty Headers weigh 15.3 pounds, that is less than half the weight of the heavy OEM cast iron manifolds.

From the B&B website...

FCOR-0250 C5 SHORTY HEADERS 1.75" PRIMARY TUBES '97-99
FCOR-0255 C5 SHORTY HEADERS 1.75" PRIMARY TUBES '00
FCOR-0257 C5 SHORTY HEADERS STEPPED PRIMARY TUBES '01-04

So I take it yours are the #0255 headers?

Yes - they are/were for a C5 2000 LS1 engine - but as mentioned they are currently on my 2006 LS2 engine - with the fittings closed off.

I have a used set of these for my 99. I'm pretty sure the only differences between the years are the angles of the h-pipe flanges, so as long as you have the right h-pipe or can have a muffler shop mod yours, they should otherwise interchange. I'm going off memory though, so don't take that as gospel.

If I'm not mistaken it's not only the angle of the collector connection, but also at the air valve connection which varied in the '97-'99, '00 and then '01-04 models.

I have a friend who wants a set of B&B shorty headers, but he needs all of the connections correct for his '03 Z06. He doesn't want to make any alterations to the rest of the system.

B&B is a great shorty header. Your asking price is reasonable and they don't show up in the classifieds very often.

Is there a part number on the welded tag to verify?

Part of that "angle" reason is that the 2000 had pup cats..........

They are still at the shop - and I have not picked them up - will add pics and see if there are any part numbers to show. Suppose i will have to clean them up before taking pics ...

Good point - I failed to mention that the rest of the exhaust / pups / and back through the x-pipe (bassani) can also be included / negotiated for a good price.

Asking price $450.00 shipped to most locations.

They were first put in my car -2000 C5 Vert - back in 2001. They have been on my new forged 2006 LS2 engine for only a few months. Most folks see 12 to 15 HP increase - B&B claims 10 HP increase in their advert.
The headers have the air/smog fittings intact but they currently have small plates bolted on - so if wanted they could hook up - or not - your choice. They will fit most any LS1 / LS2 engine with the air/smog covered/closed. They were originally bought/made to fit my LS1 2000 engine.

Asking price shipped to most locations: $450.00

I have a 99 coupe with the Bassani x-pipe installed. What would I need to change to make these work on my car?

You would just need new exhaust gaskets when you install the headers.
From what I can tell - looking at the pics ?
Seems they would just attach to your pipes in front of your x-pipe.

That is exactly how they were installed on my car.

Default Clear you PM box ?

I do have two clamps if you need them - usually the shop would use new clamps if needed ?

Let me know..

If you need them I will send them - but you would need to pay shipping (wouldn't be much)

Let me know..
Cheers,

Burk
