Default A&A Corvette built forged LS7 427 engine for sale

**SOLD**

Up for sale is a freshly rebuilt A&A Corvette forged 427 LS7 block with Patriot Performance heads. Includes forged 4" stroker crankshaft, forged rods, Diamond forged pistons, Akerly & Childs file fit rings, Clevite bearings, HD timing set, timing chain guide, timing cover with cam sensor, rear cover, and oil pump. the engine has not been started since the rebuild.

The engine was pulled from my car and was completely gone through and balanced by A&A Corvette after the crankshaft was found to be machined incorrectly by the manufacture. This caused wear on the crank thrust bearing. The engine never showed signs of any issues prior, it was luck that it was discovery when other work was being done on the car. The crankshaft was replaced with a new Callies.

I built a new motor for the vette and had plans to put this motor in a project car. My plans have changed and now I have an extra motor.
This engine put down around 840 rwhp with an A&A YSi kit on a safe tune. It also ran a 9.6 @ 142 with only 10 degrees of timing prior to the rebuild.

Specifics on the engine;

-Callies Compstar Crankshaft
-Diamond Racing Pistons -23cc (Compression Ratio is 9.2 to 1)
-ARP main studs
-ARP head studs
-A&A custom blower cam 232/240 LSA 116+3
-Patriot Performance Heads 72cc stage 3 LQ9 heads with 2.08”/1.6” stainless steel valves, Patriot Gold Dual .650” Lift springs, titanium retainers, Super 7 machined locks, custom honed bronze guides, machined spring bases, and viton rubber seals
-OE MLS head gaskets
-LS7 lifter set
-Side of block knock sensors mounts are tapped to use LS1/6 style sensors
-24 tooth reluctor wheel installed

$6750 plus shipping and any fees such as Paypal.

Pictures show all that is included in the sale.

Connecting rod

The block is clearance to fit C5 engine mounts

Crated and ready to go

I also have an LS6 intake and Throttle body that is externally polished that bolt right on.

Any problems with the block at all? Cracks or anything? Build sheet? Negotiable at all?

Looks like a crack in this picture?

I pull the engine back out of the crate and double check the area of the picture. The dark area is a shadow from the flash. Here is another picture of the same area at a little different angle.

Andy from A&A said the block had superficial scratches/ gouges from the thrust bearing failing on the block. None were on bearing surfaces. They would not affect the block at all.

Thanks for pointing this out in the picture so I could double check, don't want to sell a bad engine to anyone.

Motor is still for sale. A few people are interested in it though.

Not looking at layaway options or trades at this point.

I could use Pfadt coil overs and DSS Level 5 half shafts as a partial trade...

And no organs needed at this point too

No deals have been worked out for the sale yet. Many people interested, none pulling the trigger.
