How does the partition attach to the car? My wife just surprized me with one today. And I am going to install it tonight. Looks like velcro straps in the picture. I have not opened it up yet. Info please

A quick bit of feedback for those considering adding this to their cars:
I recently purchased & received a partition/tray combo from SCP. I placed the order via phone and received both pieces inside of 1 week later. The fit is perfect. I've yet to be able to gauge the reduction in road noise, as we've had a period of rain here...I suspect it will be as advertised though.
I rarely do plugs but, frankly, this whole transaction was just as one would want. Thanks, guys.

Can you tell me how deep the c5 tray 2 is with the hinge lid closed. Im trying to see what will fit in there with the lid closed. Issue would be depth as if its 2 1/2 closed and the lid has to be down your really limiting what will actually fit. Im deciding between the c5 tray 1 or tray 2. I like the tray 1 in that i could put something a little taller without having the lid to close down.

Thanks i actually ordered the vette tray 2 weeks ago. I already had the partion. Cant wait to receive it. Looks like it should have come with the z06 from the factory.

Should have come with the car from the factory. Let me add this very important note. I called Southern car parts to clarify a few things. The owner took the time to talk with me and dicuss the direction im going with my z06. This company has GREAT customer service !!!! Im so impressed with the staff and owner of this company they have a customer for life. In this crazy economy sometimes business's lose site of quality customer service, southern car parts has not so hats off to you. Thank you for a great product and taking such good care of your customers.

Got my Vette Tray 2 and divider. Looks great. Seems to be less road noise and exhaust sound from Borla Stingers that were on the car when purchased. Thank You Southern Car Parts!
