Is there a trick to getting the headers up from underneath the car? My passenger side is not wanting to go up. Im doing this on the floor with the car raised as high as it will go on jack stands. Im assuming you slide the front of the header up first?
Thanks

Yes, they fit on all C5's, no fitment differences between any of the C5s. Did you read the instructions and remove the starter? Passenger side takes a little more wiggling than the drivers side but it slides up and in no problem If this doesn't work please PM me and I can give you a call to help you out

Finished the install. That's not a job I would want to do again
I was able to get the passenger side in without jacking the engine, but it was tight. Probably the biggest pain was putting the starter back on once the headers are up. Its very tight but everything fits well.
My catback is a little off. The right tip sits a little lower than the left and sticks out a little farther. Is there a trick to line them up?

Catbacks on these cars are honestly just a pain in general to line up, haha. Just keep tweaking it a touch at a time and eventually you will get them lined up
How does it sound!?!?

They have always been $899 for catted and $749 for offroad since they have came out. Intro pricing was $25 cheaper and some specials have had cheaper pricing but standard pricing has NEVER changed on these systems

Is it ok to reuse the stock metal headgaskets with these headers? That is what I did as I felt they would hold up better than the gaskets that come with them. So far no problems and seems to seal well.

Absolutely as long as they look good! Typically you can reuse those a few times without issues!

I'm currently shopping the long tube header market for my 98....I'm looking at race style headers & off road X pipe. Car currently has a Corsa Pace Car exhaust on it.
I found a set of coated Kooks for $1200 shipped, TSP coated is $700..sell me on this system.
It appears as if this set up is not ceramic coated?

This set-up is 321 stainless steel. There is no need for a ceramic coating, simple as that. This system is the best stainless, 321SS, on the market for C5 exhaust systems. Never once have I had or even heard from anyone where they had an issue with this system due to heat, not a single one. Being that this is 321 stainless, the system will last forever. You could leave your car your in salted elements and the whole car would erode away leaving you with this header system laying there
This system fits great, is complete, is all 321 stainless and polished, and in the offroad version for $749 shipped to your doorstep!
You could go with the Kooks for nearly $500 more, which is only 304 stainless, or the TSP for nearly the same price but you will have coated mild steel headers with an uncoated, non-stainless X-pipe. Neither of the other systems have an extra bung in the X for a wideband already there, and neither will have the customer service you would receive from me!
PM coming as well!

These headers are great!
I put a set of these on a few months back. Took it to the strip and went from 13.2 at 107 to 12.9 at 110! Sounds great with the Midwest Corvette mufflers I have!
