Hey guys, I just purchased a Suburban with a D3 in it, but I am not a fan of the disc nav and the X920bt is so much better in my Convertible.

Any idea how much different the hookups are from the D3 to the 920? Is the 940 the same? I might just drop a 940 in the Convertible and move the 920 to our suburban if the hookups are the same.

Similar question to above. I have a Pioneer Z2. Are the connections the same so it is just pull out, change plugs and go?

The harness is different on the 940 VS the D3
The harness is similar to the 920 harness but the bypass will be different and you will need the 940 harness

its simple to rewire it by just matching up the colors of the wires.

Alright. Thank you sir. Maybe if I get bored enough I will make the change. It doesn't bug me enough to want a rewire since the suburban is using another interface for.the steering wheel, flip down DVD, etc... If I am going to do a rewire it will be when I put a full kicker system in.

for hydrocarbon finish
about 4-6 weeks

1-2 weeks for me to get it done as we are super busy
4 weeks on average to get it back from hydro
not a quick process but they sure look good when we get them back form Hydro
