Sorry for the dumb question, but if I'm going to go with a streetable cam, head, and long tube exhaust.... would I be better with a 102 or a 92? Also, will the Ls7 with harness work on a 99 C5 Ls1 motor with either of these intakes?

Thanks

Either one will work great but there are a few variables to consider. Please give us a call and we'll be happy to help you. I don't think the GM LS3/LS7 TB will work, you have to use the GM LS2 TB. The Nick Williams 102 TB will work.

Thanks

Default 92mm Fast

Will either of these Fast intake manifolds (92mm or 102mm) fit a 06 LS2 Corvette without modifying the firewall? My first generation Fast , purchased in 2006, had required either a modification to the firewall , or a modification to the manifold itself. Thank You..

There is no clearance issue with the FAST 102 intake on the C6.

Awesome delivery times on my fast92 intake!!!! Completed the install today along with a ported and polished ls2 t/b and a 160 thermostat. Replaced a few vacuum lines while things were tore apart also. Took about 4hrs from start to finish including a trip to the parts store for some vacuum lines.

I highly recomend buying from Hinson and any one with basic auto knowledge can complete this install.

Thanks again, and i cant wait for a tune in a few weeks.

Ive got a 2002 c5 z06 I'm thinking of going with a reverse split 007 cam the car has vararam intake ported stock ls6 heads, Belanger ceramic coated headers, corsa x pipe, to stock ti with bypass mod. What kind of gains do you think I'd see with this set up? Is a fast 92 (maybe get it ported) with a ls2 tb (maybe get it ported too) worth it? I'm on the fence of getting either (ported or unported). Is it worth the extra $2k if its not going to get me that much more power. With my set up how much more power should I expect to see (after a dyno tune)?

Reread what my post said. Not interested in a bigger cam. Using the car as a daily driver during summer months. I want to retain the gas mileage I get now and pick up some power. Question was is it worth it to get the fast 92 with ls2 tb ported or unported (intake or tb) is it worth it with the cam I'm getting to net significant gains?

With heads/cam, you'll pickup 20-30 rwhp.

Sir,

Will the 92 accept the LS6 fuel rail mounts? I have a 102 on one of my other cars (got it from you, thanks) and it needed the LS2 mounts.

Thanks,
TJ
