If your C5's headlights have been giving you fits with their proper operation, chances are your nylon OEM gears are stripped. There is a simple fix that is much better and longer lasting than the cheap plastic ones.

how difficult is the install? I don't have any issues currently, but like preventive maintenance

Its not!

Open the motor housing, pull nylon gear and replace with the brass. About a 30 min job

the verbiage is a little confusing on your site...
"If your motors are in good working condition, you may want to upgrade to the durable Bronze Corvette Headlight Gear."

Is that what I am ordering for $89.99?

$89.99 will get you a pair of gears that will replace your stock nylon gears in your motor housing

Both of my headlights are currently function properly.However when I turn them off one of the headlight motors keeps spinning and making a grinding clicking noise. Does this sound like a gear problem that this kit would fix?

sounds like the classic strip gear issue. The motor has no reference if the light has shut so thats why it keeps trying to turn the gear.

Is there a difference between your Bronze gear? And a "durable" Bronze gear? Or is it the same, I am still confused my the verbiage.
