Been there DID NOT DO THAT!!!! on a 2000. Been chasing this for a year and 1/2. Called everyone, went to Carisle talked to GM etc. Best lead I had was Corvette Specialist in Riverside Ca. I was about ready to ship my unit there and decided to get a C6.
The part is no longer made. No one has been motivated to come up with an aftermarket product yet. Best of luck.

Understand the problem, but maybe this will help. If yours is mounted at the front of the vehicle it's possible other part numbers will work. If mounted on the rear cross member check to see if you have a big M or a big V on the label. My understanding is that determines what will work, not simply the part number.

There's an M model listed for sale right now if that's the model you need. I have a 97' and get the random lights on my dash but usually go away after a restart. When it does trigger, I notice I lose partial power steering. I can really tell when slow rolling but at speed it's not a big deal.
What did you find out?

My car has the active handling option(jl4) so it too uses the v model. I bought a m model (was told it was a v model) as a back up and desided to put it in just to see what would happen. Well the ABS and traction contorol worked perfectly. Obviously the active handling didnt work. I drove around with the m model for about 2 weeks then I put the original v model back in.

In my opinion this is not a huge issue. Screw ABS TCS and all the other stuff. I don't need it.

I've had my 00 FRC for about 4 years now. The EBCM went out about a year after I got it. I've had no problems driving my Vette ! And it is my daily driver !!
