C5 Halo LED Tails @ JWM
If you would like to be placed on our pre order to contact list pm me with your email address. We're not taking order now but we'll contact you once we start. We expect them to start shipping towards the end of Jan.
Please PM me this info don't post it in the thread
These LED lights come with everything you need to install. Simply unscrew your old lights and install these. Everything is plug n play.
These LED Halo tails are brighter than stock lights which increases visibility and safety.
This includes 4 tail lights for a complete set.
These are the halo version, not the cheap bay version.
28 high powered leds plus the halo rings
$265 shipped
Halo Mod
Add $65 to your order for this mod
I personally think this is a safer lighting arrangement as there is an intensity change in the original/stock halo rather than the separation of lights, like in the mod. No question really if you're on the brakes when the light has been modded.
With this mod the halo portion you see in the above pic is lit. When you press the brakes the whole light comes alive like the pic below.
This mod takes us approx 10 days to complete. We will let you know when the lights are complete and ship.

Alright guys our new led halo mod is ready. This mod uses our flex led strips and takes us 5-7 additional man hours to complete. This mod actually adds a little brightness to the already bright halos. This option is perfect for those that run tinted lenses. Add $135 for this.
If you already have halos and want this mod done PM me. The price is the same as above plus return shipping.

Yes I tint them as light or as dark as you want. Right now I have a few sets in for tint so it will take me a bit to finish.
I have mine tinted and the light output is only affected a little. Mine are light tinted though. The darker you go the more light you will lose.

Can you provide a little more detail regarding the new style halo ring and the difference from the original? It looks like it's maybe a color that more closely matches the field LED's, but it could be the camera just making it appear differently.
Thanks,
Thanks,

The color is the same. The camera just makes them look like that.
We just replace the halo rings that come with the tails with our flex led strips. It adds a unique look. I'm not sure if we have gained any brightness with them or not. I'll do my comparisons once I have my set.

We need to see photos of the old and new MODs on a Vette before we can decide which way to go. I look forward to seeing them so I can chose and send mine out. I will keep checking the thread for them

These led modded halos just arrived today so I took a few day pics. Keep in mind the halo on the right is tinted. I will swap a non modded halo in tomorrow. Too much ice down now

What lighting mods are done to the white c5 pictured above other then the halo lights and the led license plate light? What are the lights that made the door panels shine white? MUST HAVE THIS!!

We have led strips you can use for that.
What you have to do is remove the door panel, attach your led strip to the bottom of the door, and run the wire to tap into the footwell lights. That way these lights will come on when you open your door. It probably takes 30-45 min per side for the first time.

Any chance we can get some slightly angled shots and furhtur away shots with both tails being non-tinted? This new LED strip MOD appears to be direct facing leds from the photos and video you have posted versus the old Halo MOD appears to give more of a 360 degree light dispersion throughout the entire housing and can be seen from a side angle better. Also how does the new MOD look when it is off? Can you see the strips inside? I do not plan to tint mine so this will be important. Perhaps a longer video that shows an angled view would better answer these questions? I would image the old Halo MOD helps light the entire tail light housing better as well compared to the new MOD? If possible more pics and video please. Sorry to be a pain, but it is a bit of an investment for the new MOD strips compared to the old so I want to be sure it is the way to go before I decide, thanks You are great to work with!!!

Sorry those belong to someone else now so I can't take the pics you requested.
I do have pics of the lights when off. You can see the strip (you can see the normal halo too), but it still looks like it belongs.

Anyone who has the new LED MODed taillights, please post more pictures. Also curious about how you think they look and if they have good 360 illumination inside the housing. Thanks a million!!!
