Default Gauging Interest: Halo/Projector Group Buy

Hey guy's just throwing this out there to see what the interest might be.

I have a supplier that is offering me these lights at a really good price. Im not really a lighting guy as you guy's know but at this price I figured I'd pass on the good deal.

These Halo/Projectors are available in black or chrome housing. They would come with the HID kit in your choice of colors and wattage (35 or 55) 55 would be $25 more. The HID's that would be supplied are waterproof as well. I know on a Vette being waterproof doesn't necessarily matter as most are pretty picky about rain etc. However it's good to know that for whatever reason that they are waterproof and are a high quality HID. I'll see if I can get the video of these on underwater.

In order to get the deal I would need a minimum of 10 buyers and pricing would be $265 shipped for the lights, 35w HID kit and wiring harness with relay (if you choose to use them.) I have installed a few other lights with no relays, but for some reason these cars are weird some seem to need them and some don't. If you wanted 55w HID's it's $25 more, and as mentioned most colors are available, I recommend a 4300-5K for the most light output, will also be the whitest, but I believe 6-12K is also available. Oh and LIFETIME warranty on the HID kit.

Here's pictures of the black ones I just sold.

Anyway post up if your interested. Thanks

Yes. I could get the high beam kit if you wanted it, but most guys do just lows since they put out enough light.

I'm a maybe. Also interested in instructions. I don't have any interest in the halo ring.

Count me in for a set if instructions are included. Would also be interested in instructions on how to connect the halo to activate with the low beams only (not with the DRLs). I would be interested in 6000k bulbs to match my fog lights. PM me what's next.

I'm interested also if as others have said, they come with specific install directions and proper connectors?
Also, is the lens covered under the warranty? I've heard this is the issue with this type light??

Thanks guys. I think my supplier does have instructions for these so we should be good there. Also the halo is only on the low beam (since it was asked) Keep the interest coming and i'll try to update you guys on the instructions.

So what's the difference between a set of these compared to the ones on ebay?

Default These are not your typical eBAY light

First of all count me in for a set of these (if you have instructions)

I have been looking for a few months now at changing my lights. The ebay ones I have looked at are not HID. Some come with bulbs and some do not. One I looked at that comes with the low beam bulb uses the 9006 Light Bulb ($8 bulb).

The only problem I have read about with these housings is noted below:

"The ACA design light is plagued with an alignment issue where the high beam does not line up correctly with the low beam. Since the housing is a single solid unit, the high and low could not be independently adjusted. Therefore a car with correctly aimed low beams would find the high beams useless."

With HID lows adjusted correctly I do not think you would need to use the high beams.

Put me in for a black set as long as it's not going to be a 2 month wait. Season is almost upon us here in the northeast!!!!!
