Corvette brothers,
I have a rare opportunity for someone to buy a rare flywheel that hardly ever comes on the market as a uses item.
What I have for sale is Katech Performance LS9X / LS9R Flywheels SKU:KAT -5198. This flywheel alone list for http://store.katechengines.com/ls9x-...heel-p245.aspx$819.99 through Katech.
So whats so special about this flywheel? Its set up to fit on LS engines with the specific ability to run a C6 ZR1 clutch set up. As you may or may not know an OEM ZR1 flywheel has a different bolt patter only shared with the LS9 and LSA engines.
Basically if you wanted to purchase a ZR1 clutch/flywheel for your base C5/Z06 or base C6/GS/Zo6 it will not bolt up because the bolt patter on the rear crank are different.
Katech engineers developed this special flywheel that will bolt up to any LS engine and has all the provisions to mount a ZR1 clutch.
The flywheel in question came off a car that was traded in and fitted with a stock clutch. The clutch assembly was sold separate leaving the flywheel alone until today. The flywheel only has 1500 miles or less and is ready to ship.
So if you have a C5 or C6 and looking for a zr1 set up but don’t have thehttp://http://store.katechengines.co...-z06-p241.aspx $1,599.99 to spend on a LS9R clutch all you need is to buy this flywheel and purchase a ZR1 clutch from a corvette forum vendor or dealership.
Im currently asking for $440.23 which is close to 50% off its original price.
