Could be fate- I happened to find this thread and I've been looking for these wheels for my '99 C5 Coupe. I live in Virginia, but I'm crazy enough to drive up to New York (friends, family, road trip.)
Just two concerns- The C5 wheels have 4mm and 7mm more offset than the C5Z wheels. Not a ton, but some people mention the C5Z wheels appear "sunken" on a C5. Hard to imagine over about 1/4 inch, but do you have any thoughts on that?
Lastly, What size tires are on there? C5Z tires fit on C5's all day, but it will help me mock up the fit before the trip.
Thanks,
-Christian

These wheels will fit PERFECT on your car. They are built specificly for the C5 or C5Z. I have the same set and the car gets looks everytime I drive it.
I think the backspacing is 7.75 front and 8.75 rear on his but ill let him tell you 100%. If you have the ability to go get these I would.
EDIT:
275 fronts on 18x 10.5
315 rears on 18''x11.5 ..with michellin pilot sports
My fronts are 18x10...im gussing his front wheel back spacing is 7.5.

Looks like the backspacing is less than an inch over C5 coupe stock according to this thread:

<copy>
C5 (coupe/vert):
Front 17x8.5", 58mm offset = 7.03" backspace
Rear 18x9.5" 65mm offset = 7.81" backspace
C5 Z06:
Front 17x9.5", 54mm offset = 7.38" backspace
Rear 18x10,5", 58mm offset = 8.03" backspace
</copy>
The 315's should be fine with fender clearance as I understand it. Once he confirms the measurements I'll calculate the overall difference and prototype it to confirm.
The offset difference shouldn't matter much if at all. It's independant of the width of the wheels. If I wanted to be obsessive with the centerline I could always put 4mm and 7mm spacers to push the wheels out- but even typing that makes me laugh as we all know how small 4mm and 7mm is (think sockets, I did.)
PM sent, hopefully we can get this deal rolling (pun!)

Thanks for the info- I hope his data matches. The nice thing about our cars being a little older is we don't have to reinvent the wheel. Someone has most likely tried and shared what fit for them.
