I used to think so. And was looking forward to purchasing some headlights for my self.

After seeing my brother's recently purchased Halo tail lights yesterday, with the lenses and housings all mixed up, left lenses on right housings and vice versa, one of the 4 lights clearly brighter than the other 3, I'm having second thoughts about dropping $650 on some headlights.

So far not much luck in getting them exchanged.......

It's the holidays..George is as honest as they come. He's done a TON of stuff for me over the YEARS, and while it occasionally takes a little bit of time, he ALWAYS does the right thing. His work is art

Since our last correspondence noting the possibility of 3 tail lights being installed upside down, I have not heard back from him. I assumed the problem was solved. If it is not, please let him know I would be happy to work with him to find a solution.

Saturday: ACA bi-xenon headlights

For those seeking the best pop up headlights for the C5, look no further. Radioflyer's Bi-xenon ACA headlights are the answer and they're on sale for Cyber week for just $600

Order your set here:
http://shop.radioflyerinnovations.co...lights-015.htm

I'm often asked what makes our headlights better than those floating around ebay. Here's just a few reasons:

1) Radioflyer Bi-xenon Headlights are the only production pop up headlights that use Bi-xenon optics. This means you get both low and high beam modes from the projector using the same HID light source. The low beam pattern projects far and wide while the high beam is essentially a wall of light.

2) Many version of these headlights are the cheap version from china which have been known to break on installation and have horrible optics that destroy any pattern coming from the projector. We ONLY use the high quality version of these headlights made in Taiwan which are significantly stronger and have near-perfect optics.

3) The Headlight resistors sold with other kits suck up power and convert it to heat. These resistors get VERY hot and can melt insulation on wires that may contact it presenting a fire hazard. Our 70w HID kits ensure proper headlight raise/lower function WITHOUT the need for a headlight resistor.

4) We include a Cree 16-chip LED high beam bulb standard to serve as a signaling device for flash-to-pass as well as color-matching the 5000K headlights

5)All ACA type headlights suffer an inherent design flaw in that the projector low beam and High beam are not aligned with each other. This means when your low beam is correctly aimed, your high beam is pointed into the sky....pretty much worthless for function. The Bi-xenon projector we use as well as the flood pattern of the LED high beam not only correct this but provide for a significantly more useful high beam than any other ACA kit.

Let the photos speak for themselves:

Factory low:

Color-matched LED high beam

Never out-drive your headlights again:

Here's what customers have said:
" The light output is incredible and makes driving at night a pure pleasure! The fact that it looks awesome when the covers are up is just the icing on the cake! I highly recommend this kit....you will NOT be sorry!"

"As for the results -- simply incredible! The nighttime visibility improvement is remarkable. And the lights look good too"

"The ACA bi-xenon headlights by Radioflyer are the bomb!"

I have a question, my HID fogs seem to only work occasionally (they're a different brand), only one turns on every time. My thought is that it's the wire running from the fuse box too the ballast, not the ballast it's self. Have you found these old wires need replacing? I figured if I'm installing these beauties, I should replace anything else that might hinder their performance.

Not quite.

Low beam: Projector is in low beam mode with DOT style dipped-cutoff pattern. This provides excellent long-distance illumination and an incredible 72 degree width of light spread.

High beam: Projector goes to full beam spread. Same width but cutoff is moved up into the sky for full projection. LED high beam in reflector come on. The LED high beam is only rated at a little over 700 lumens, but is perfect for signaling other drivers with flash-to-pass. Most of your high beam output will come from your projector.

If you're interested in multiple items, email me for a custom package price.

Usually it's just the quality of the ballasts. Also keep in mind the factory fog lights were designed around a 35w bulb and a 10 amp fuse. If you run 55w ballasts, they MAY not work correctly depending on the technical specs of the ballasts. Also consider the vehicle's voltage when the fogs are turned on. HID ballasts are rather cranky with less than 11v
