Looking for a ViS cowl hood for a C5. I have no interest in any other hoods, or the extractor model of this, I specifically want this exact hood.

Please let me know price, and condition, and I will arrange shipping. If there's any interest to trade for my near perfect condition torch red hood, I would love to do that as well with some cash on my side.

Similar, but no. That's the extractor I mentioned. Though, if the price was right and I couldn't say no, I would consider that one. Do you have that hood for sale?

No. That one I just picked up for my car last fall. But I saw one at a local swap meet in the u.p. shortly after I bought mine. But it wasn't as tall of a cowel as the one you pictured.

There's one on ebay now for $1,275 incl shipping obo. I got mine from ebay from DTM outlet for $800. Looks like they are back ordered on it now on their website. I know at that price, there's a chance it might not be real VIS, but shipping was quick and the hood is very good quality and fits great. It has the VIS stampings and really is good quality, so I have no reason to believe it is fake. It's the same pic you posted but in person the cowl isnt as high and boxy looking.

I saw that, same exact thing I was thinking. As long as it is good quality like you say, then I'm alright with it. Any pics of it on your car by chance? Thanks for the info.
