[FS] Vette Essential Carbon Fiber Battery Tray/Cover **LOWER PRICE**
This piece does have a cosmetic flaw which is hard to see in the photos, there is what appears to be a water spot on the door, just depends on the way the light hits it.
The lid opens for storage...

This is a great price for this item. If you can find it new it sells for around $400. This is the same piece that Jay Leno had on his C5 as well. If I didn't have one I'd snag it up. Good luck.

I had mine velcroed to the top of the battery so it wouldn't move. When I installed an optima battery though I had to take it out. If you have a top post battery you will need to drill holes in the bottom for the posts or just remove it and use something else until you get a different battery. I am concidering drilling holes and then making some kind of fiberglass repair to accommodate the posts so I can use it again. I wouldn't leave them open as whatever you put in the compartment could short the battery out if it's metal. I love the look of it.
