FS: Pac Audio OEM VET1 Harness/Peripheral PXHGM4 iPod Adapter/Cablejive iPod Adapter
SOLD.
I recently installed a completely new audio system and removed the factory radio in my C5Z. I previously had this complete setup running without issues:
1. Pac Audio AOEM-VET1 harness
2. Peripheral PXDP PXHGM4 iPod adapter to factory radio
3. Cablejive iPod-to-AUX/USB adapter
This combination allows you to pretty much plug and play RCA outputs and either a direct iPod connection or, as I used it, with the Cablejive adapter to use an Android phone with the factory radio. The USB connection provides charging to the phone and the aux connection for audio.
The green wire on the PAC harness splices into the stock harness for remote turn-on connection. The blue/white wire is the remote amp turn-on wire. I also rewired the power wire of the PXHGM4 harness. The original configuration connects to an always-hot 12v source. The white wire in the picture can be spliced into whatever 12v source you wish. I tapped it to the HVAC switched ignition wire. The rest is plug and play.
All three of these pieces new are about $135.
$70 shipped in the continental US or any best offer.
