Not a dumb question at all. You could carefully uncover the epoxy and expose the sensor location, or quite possibly relocate it.

Sorry if this is another "stupid question", but if the epoxy is removed for the MAP, still where does the HVAC line gets plugged in?
Also if I get this right, I would need a LS2 throttle body and harness, but the fuel rails will transfre over from my LS1 intake, right?
